Purchasing a home is a rather tedious, and sometimes confusing, undertaking in part because buyers are not always as
informed as they should be before taking the steps involved with buying property. For instance, the buyer needs to be clear about the representation he/she is receiving from the real estate agent who is handling the transaction. This is where information about the buyer's agent comes in and should be made readily available to the property-buying public.

Within the industry, the notion that there would be an agent to represent the financial and other interests of the buyer of a home - to the exclusion of the seller - is relatively new and may not be the norm in all areas. Once an Exclusive Buyer's Brokerage Agreement is signed - as required by
Tennessee law - our firm goes on record as your real estate representative and conducts business on your behalf in accordance with that agreement. Buyers' Agents who are affiliated with Crye-Leike are responsible for the following services:

· Explain options the agency makes available to clients

· Develop a thorough understanding of buyer's needs and interests Offer financing information and assistance

· Provide general advice and counsel regarding buying process

· Provide a comprehensive market analysis

· Explain forms and arrangements

· Promote and protect buyer's interests throughout process

· Negotiate the best purchase price and terms for buyer

· Provide information that will enhance buyer's bargaining position

· Assist in writing best offer in the interest of the buyer

· Make presentation of best offer to listing agent

· Provide advice on home inspection; make recommendations of best inspectors

· Monitor the closing

· Yield a satisfied customer
